The conference, which has already become a traditional event for the professional community, gathered market leaders in transport studies, modelling and design.
Among the event’s organizers and attendees were the leading Russian transport universities - St Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (SPbGASU) and Moscow Automobile and Road Construction State Technical University (MADI), as well as St. Petersburg Research Center of the Russian Academy of Science, Research Institute for Roads and Traffic (FGSV, Germany), Ministry of Transport of Russia, interregional public organization ‘Coordination Council for Road Traffic Management.’
The conference included thematic discussions on transport modelling, urban public transport development, the progress of Safe Roads national project, and a separate session on foreign experience of transport system development.
Our company, together with Russian Road Scientific Research Institute (FAU ROSDORNII), held a round table “Comprehensive Roads Survey”, dedicated to road diagnostics and certification, traffic management projects, creation of road databases and GIS.
We also discussed amendments to regulations and prospects for the industry. Both contractors and clients participated in the discussion.
